Choose your perfect tent pitch at Vimmerby Camping
At Vimmerby Camping, there are two large tent areas with different characteristics. You can choose to be close to all the activities and the ice cream kiosk in the lower camping area, or opt for a slightly more secluded spot in the upper area. Both areas are surrounded by lush bushes and trees, mostly deciduous trees such as birch, alder, and oak, but there may also be the occasional pine cone to remove before setting up your tent.
To get from the upper camping area to the beach, you can follow a winding path through a small forest area. Just nearby, there is a fenced area where dogs are allowed to play freely.
The tent areas are unmarked, meaning we only offer drop-in spots. There are usually available spots, but if you want to be sure of getting a place, you are more than welcome to book a pitch with electricity. When you book a pitch with electricity, you also get more options and can choose a spot that suits you best – perhaps near friends who have booked a cabin?
Don’t forget to book a table on our outdoor terrace! The popular à la carte menu means the seating can fill up quickly, especially when we have a troubadour performing.
